Unique Program - Outcome Based Education
SBS follows Outcome Based Education (OBE) to measure the effectiveness of teaching and learning process with the help of a combination of Continuous Evaluation (CEs) and End Term Evaluation (ETEs) System. The institute believes in continuous reforms in academics and the examination for the betterment of the students. Feedback from the stakeholders is regularly collected, analysed, and reviewed to plan and define the strategies for the overall development of the institute. Teaching, Learning and Assessment strategies of the institute are structured to facilitate the achievement of the Program Outcomes (POs). The institute ensures the achievement of these Program Outcomes by planning, organizing, and implementing various activities such as academic, co-curricular and extra-curricular activities.
Placement Training and Assessments
Placement training plays a major role in shaping up the career goals of students. The training programmes are continuously and closely monitored and regularly revised to include latest trend-setting practices in the activities. Preparation for the placement begins right at the time a student is inducted in the SBS family. The induction process that is broadly categorized in two parts; Saksham and Prarambh has events that helps in not only building the knowledge base of the students but also stimulates their critical thinking. Once in the campus the students are trained in numerical analysis, news reading and news analysis as a part of the curriculum. Apart from that there are regular sessions on CV building and group discussions.
