Rakhi Radiance 2026 at Shanti Business School Featured in Sandesh
Shanti Business School (SBS), Ahmedabad, in collaboration with the Blind People's Association (BPA), organised Rakhi Radiance 2026, a meaningful Raksha Bandhan initiative that combined creativity, entrepreneurship, and social responsibility.
The event provided an opportunity for visually impaired women to showcase and sell their handcrafted rakhis, encouraging financial independence and recognising their creative skills. Students actively participated in the initiative, gaining practical exposure to social entrepreneurship, communication, marketing, and relationship management.
Organised on the SBS campus, the initiative reflected the institution's commitment to experiential learning and community engagement. The event also helped students understand the importance of inclusivity, empathy, and supporting individuals through meaningful social initiatives.
According to the Sandesh newspaper coverage published on 26 August 2026, the initiative received encouraging support, with approximately ₹50,000 worth of rakhis sold. The proceeds contributed towards supporting visually impaired women and strengthening their economic independence.
