The University of Business, Innovation and Sustainability (UBIS) is a private international institution committed to delivering high-quality education with a strong emphasis on business, innovation, sustainability, and cross-cultural perspectives in an increasingly globalized world. With a network of international partners and more than forty nationalities represented among its students, UBIS prepares future leaders who can address complex global challenges through interdisciplinary thinking, sustainable practices, and meaningful international collaboration.
The institution's commitment to academic quality, global engagement, and sustainability aligns closely with the vision and objectives of the International Conference on Sustainability, Inclusiveness, and Social Entrepreneurship (ICSISE-2026).
As Global Academic Partner of ICSISE-2026, UBIS brings international perspectives and collaborative opportunities that further strengthen the conference's mission of promoting research, innovation, and dialogue for a more sustainable and inclusive future.

From the Director's Desk

Dear Participants, It is a pleasure to welcome you to ICSISE-2026, and a privilege for UBIS to join Shanti Business School as Global Academic Partner for this second edition of the conference.

The challenges gathered under this conference's title do not respect borders. Climate, inclusion, ethical leadership and the future of work are shared concerns, and none of us will answer them well alone. That is why partnerships of this kind matter to us. Ideas grow sharper when they travel, and research is strengthened when it is tested against different economies, cultures and lived realities.

A conference that brings scholars, practitioners and policymakers into the same room, whether in Ahmedabad or online, is doing quiet but essential work.

I am glad, too, that sustainability and inclusiveness are held together here. Sustainability is not only a question of emissions and energy. It is also a question of whether the institutions we build endure, and whether the value they create is fairly shared. A greener future that leaves people behind is not a future worth building, and social entrepreneurship shows us that impact and enterprise can advance side by side.

The alignment of this conference with the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals gives that ambition a common language, and the work presented here will travel well beyond the two days, through the proceedings and the journals that follow.

At UBIS our students come from more than forty nationalities, and we have learned that global leaders are formed through genuine encounter with one another. Shanti Business School shares that conviction, and we are delighted to stand alongside it.

I look forward to the conversations ahead, and I hope you will join us.

Regards,

Dr. Stuart Kewley
